FIBER TEXTILE WORK
I'm deeply interested in the interplay between textures, weaves, and patterns, and how they can evoke a range of emotions and sensations when physically interacted with. I explore the ways in which the tactility of fiber art can evoke memories, provoke contemplation, and elicit a sense of connection with the physical world. By carefully selecting colors and manipulating fibers, I strive to create a multisensory experience that engages the viewer's sense of touch in a profound and intimate way. Tactile experience is a focal point in my artistic practice, allowing me to explore the rich and complex interplay between texture, emotions, and the human senses.

Fall 2020Rug Tufting, Yarn
This rug was created with a manual tufting gun that was passed down to me through generations. This peice was created for the Crossing Over show 2020 and explored how I felt in that time period. Since 2020 it has been featured in two other gallery shows, including the Fiber + Form and 50th Annual Juried Show both in 2023.&#38;nbsp;

WEARABLE EMOTIONSFall 2022Screen printing, Found Fabric
These peices were a combination of found clothing material and screen-printed icons and patterns. I wanted to create hoodies with a futuristic aesthetic in mind and finding surprising ways the screen-printed fabric can appear. I wanted to learn how screen printing on fabric can apply to clothes and experiment with different ways to incorporate them into the fabric using pigment.

ANEW
Felt, Pool Noodles, Disco Ball 
Anew is a multimedia art installation that represents the interaction between the self and the creator. Anew is a manifestation of change and the process of metamorphosis. This manifesto was a reflection of the process of how I have been growing the past couple years in response to the first 20. Shifting through many versions of myself to find something new. Anew explores and represents multidimensional forces by ai art that was generated by the words in the manifesto and is reflected on a fiber sculpture.

		<description>AUGMENTED REALITIES
One aspect of my creative practice revolves around representing unseen emotions and the complex process of emotional processing in the human experience using augmented reality (AR) as a medium of expression.&#38;nbsp;Through AR, I create immersive and interactive experiences that allow viewers to explore and engage with emotional states that are often intangible and hard to articulate. By blending digital elements with the physical world, I aim to create a multi-dimensional and visceral encounter that triggers a deep feelings and introspection.&#38;nbsp;One of the reasons I'm drawn to AR is its ability to break the barriers of traditional art forms and create new possibilities for storytelling and expression. AR offers an innovative way of presenting art that goes beyond the static confines of a canvas or sculpture, and opens up a dynamic and interactive realm where viewers can actively participate in the creation of meaning.

Moreover, I see AR as a powerful tool for learning and education. It offers a unique opportunity to merge art and technology, creating a new form of interactive learning that is engaging and experiential. I'm excited about the potential of AR as an emerging technology to revolutionize the way we approach education and make learning more immersive, accessible, and enjoyable.&#38;nbsp;In my artistic practice, I strive to push the boundaries of what is possible with AR, exploring its potential to represent the nuances of human emotions and offering viewers a deeper understanding of the complex emotional landscape that defines our human experience. Through my work, I hope to inspire a sense of curiosity and wonder about the possibilities of AR, both as an artistic medium and as a tool for interactive learning.


MENTAL + PHYSICAL FORCES
Felt, Arylic, Procreate, Adobe Aero

This fiber AR piece was an exploration between the physical manifestation of pain and how my thoughts sometimes bubble around a hurt part of myself that I should feel emotionally and release. I represented the thoughts in the intangible reality through AR and felt the juxtaposition of the physical painting and fiber tufted center interacting with the AR mirrored the human process it was based off. 


EARTH ENERGIES
Felt, Styrofoam, Procreate, Adobe Aero

This project was my first exploration combining textiles and augmented reality. I felted the world on styrofoam and then used it as an anchor in Adobe Aero. I drew the energys surrounding the felt in Procreate and then brought that into Aero and added animation actions to it.


AR FILTERS 
Procreate, Nomad Sculpt, Adobe Aero

Here are a collection of ar face filters that can be explored on the filter tab of my Instagram. Taking my art to ar cataplutled to something that could be taken farther than just me. Not only does this piece showcases what I can create but it also creates a platform for people to be creative and I thought it would be a fun filter for people to play with. I also found it successful because I was laughing while I was making it and had a lot of fun which is something I want to be doing when I'm creating. The software I used was nomad sculpting, where I made the gem and then I brought that into procreates 3D coloring setting and finished it up there. I used Photoshop to create the column moon background for the crystal ball filter and then I use spark AR to create the filters and for the mirror and crystal ball asset.
